Firearms Safety Training
Can I take a firearms class?
You do not need a license of any kind, in fact in Ma you will need to take a class first.
You cannot; however, be a federally prohibited person to handle firearms or take the class, basically there is a list in federal law that prohibits felons and others from touching a gun.
Also, we are prohibited by law from providing training to anyone that is not a US citizen or a PERMANENT Resident (sorry student visas don't count) without special permission from the US State Department this is an ITAR treaty requirement.
I require minors to have a parent (a legal guardian) with them and yes you have to stay.
Other than you are good to go. If you have experience we start from there If you have never touched a gun - great no bad habits.
If you are taking a class in MA and do not currently have a vaild MA LTC - do not bring a firearm with you. Ma law has changed and there is no exemption anymore to bring a firearm into Ma without a MA license.
We train at our discretion - Safety and Attitude are a requirement - If it is a problem we will kindly ask you to leave and refund your tuition. Of course; you must be in a Safe State of Mind and not under the influence of anything.
